BANANA BREAD
This is my aunt’s go to banana bread recipe, it’s amazing!
- 2+ Tbls butter, softened
- 1 scant cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 2 Tbls milk
- 3 mashed bananas (about 1.5 cups)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup pecans (optional)
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Cream butter, sugar, and egg.
Stir dry and wet ingredients together, adding in vanilla, bananas, and nust. Pour into buttered/floured loaf pan (or 2 smaller ones).
Bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until tooth comes out clean. (Or 350 if your oven is slow.)
